PERFORMANCE
Follow the guidelines below to get the best performance.
-If you are running System 7.5.3 or earlier, you will gain performance benefits by turning Virtual Memory off. To turn Virtual Memory off open up Memory in your Control Panels. Under the heading Virtual Memory, click OFF. Restart your computer. When you are finished viewing the demo, be sure to turn Virtual Memory back on.
-If you are running a 3rd party memory management product such as RAM Doubler, you may increase the speed of your demo by turning it off. When you are finished viewing the demo, be sure to turn your 3rd party memory manager back on.
-You may also find increased performance by turning File Sharing off in your Extensions Manager. Be sure to turn File Sharing back on when finished viewing the demo.
-Setting terrain detail to low will give a big performance boost. From the dialog box under DETAIL, turn set TERRAIN DETAIL to LOW DETAIL. Turn off the following items for added performance benefits, they are listed from the most performance benefit to the least.

MEMORY
If you receive an out of memory error, here are a number of suggestions which you can take to correct the problem.
Free up system memory by closing any other applications that may be running at the same time as the demo.
Lower the amount of memory which the demo uses. From the opening dialog box under DETAIL, turn DETAIL to LOW DETAIL.
You can free up more memory by only having necessary extensions turned on, which are listed in the above section entitled SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS. Be sure to turn extensions back on when you are finished viewing the demo. You may want to create a custom extension SET for Werewolf VS Comanche in your Extensions Manager.
Increase the amount of free system memory which the demo will use. Try to increase the preferred size of the demo to 150K below the largest unused block. You can check your largest unused block size by clicking "About This Macintosh," or "About This Computer" in the Apple Menu. You can change the demo's preferred size from the Desktop. Highlight the demo's icon you want to change, select FILE then GET INFO. There you can change the preferred size. Do not set the preferred size equal to or larger then the Largest Unused Block.
Turn off any RAM Disks you have on. To do this, open up Memory in your Control Panels. Under RAM Disk, click off. Restart your machine. When finished viewing the demo, be sure to turn your RAM Disk back on.
Decrease the amount of memory your system has allocated to it's cache. To do this, open up Memory in your Control Panels. Lower the cache size by hitting the down arrow next to the amount allocated to your cache size. Restart your machine for your new cache size to take affect. When finished viewing the demo, be sure to turn your cache size back to its original value.
TROUBLESHOOTING
Performance
PROBLEM: Animations play very slow or jerky.
SOLUTION: Try turning off Virtual memory or memory extensions like RAM Doubler.
PROBLEM: Frame rate is extremely slow.
SOLUTION: See PERFORMANCE section above.
Errors
PROBLEM: Receive error message "Not enough memory to load mission" or "There is not enough memory to open the game."
SOLUTION: See MEMORY section above.
PROBLEM: When installing Sound Manager, I receive an error message telling me that my System Disk is locked.
SOLUTION: In your Control Panel, open up General Controls. Uncheck the box called LOCK SYSTEM FOLDER.
Quirks/Anomalies
PROBLEM: Sky is not seen even though it is turned on
PROBLEM: Voices do not play even though sound is turned on.
SOLUTION: There is not enough free memory to run the mission with all the graphics and sounds. The program automatically turns these options off where there is not enough memory. See MEMORY section above.
PROBLEM: I have Monitor Resize checked, but I still do not play in a full screen.
SOLUTION: Your video needs to support 640X480. To check this, open up the MONITORS Control Panel under CONTROL PANEL. Click options. If 640X480 is not in the box "Select a monitor setting," then your video does not support Monitor Resize.
SOLUTION: If your are running a System version earlier then 7.5.3, you may not have Display Enabler 2.0 or later. Monitor resize requires Display Enabler 2.0 or later to work.
Sound/Music
PROBLEM: Sound and/or music do not play.
SOLUTION 1: Open the game, and check the volume level.
SOLUTION 2: If you are using a joystick, check your joystick setup program (e.g. Thrustmaster), many contain volume controls specific to running certain applications.
SOLUTION 3: Go to SOUND in your Control Panel and make sure your volume is turned up to proper levels.
PROBLEM: I still can't get sound and/or music to play or only certain sounds play.
SOLUTION: You may have a low memory situation. If only certain sounds play you do have a low memory situation. See the above section entitled MEMORY.
